So who am I?

Hi, I’m Simon Weedy - and if you’ve come this far, then of course you’d like to know what I do, and more importantly, what I can do for you. A journalist by trade, I can offer you the complete writing and design package, carrying your brief through from start to finish.

Are you in need of story ideas, copywriting skills or a sub-editor’s eye for detail? From junior local tabloid reporter to senior writer on national NHS staff magazines, I’ve done the lot. So, you’ve got your words - what about the design? I honed my graphic design skills at West Yorkshire Police, before moving onto a top media and design agency in York.

And if effective PR is your goal, I’ve provided services to clients including the Department of Health and Act PR, a leading public sector agency.

Current projects include copy editing for a large district council and managing the PR for a regional beer festival. I love diversity - and would love to help you.
